Cisco per L'Ucraina - Cisco for Ukraine Fund
We are all touched by the images coming from Ukraine; there are no comments for what is happening and the sadness is profound for the situation that thousands of families and children are experiencing, people who, like us, until recently took a job, a house, a school, water and food for granted. Cisco has selected a number of organisations to receive donations in order to help manage the emergency of families who are fleeing the war; among these I have chosen to support the Save The Children which is committed to supporting families in Ukraine and neighbouring countries for basic necessities, health, hygiene and protection. All of the harvest will be doubled by Cisco. I know that many of us, even for a small contribution, would like to support. This is a way to do it together, safely and with the support of Cisco which will match the contribution, so doubling it, and will make sure funds will be given in 7 days. Let's join our forces, THANK YOU!

THE PLAN IS TO CONTINUE TO SEND ANOTHER CONVOY OF LORRIES LATER IN APRIL - PLEASE CONTINUE TO SUPPORT - THANK YOU ALL! UKRAINE EMERGENCY APPEAL - Felsted Aid for Deprived Children (working name UK-Aid) is a registered charity that Felsted School supports and they have THREE 18 ton lorries which were ready to drive to Ukraine on 24 March full of Humanitarian aid as well as all the items we collected as a school at Harvest Festival in October. These lorries can no longer travel to Ukraine but are now destined for Moldova where many Ukrainian mothers and children are seeking refuge. 1 in 8 children in Moldova are now Ukrainian refugees. The money Felsted School raised at the Harvest festival is helping towards the cost of sending the lorries but if anyone would like to donate towards these costs, we would aim to raise £3,500 to cover the cost of sending each lorry.

Help Vietnamese struggling due to COVID-19! Fund
Dear VMware friends: Vietnam is experiencing the worst COVID outbreak since the start of the pandemic. Thousands have died, but the worst is yet to come. Only 1% of the total population has been fully vaccinated. The country is in total lockdown, and millions of unfortunate people cannot work to earn a little income to support their daily living basis. The healthcare system in Ho Chi Minh city, the largest city and also the epicenter of the outbreak, is on the brink of collapse. I was in Vietnam just a few weeks ago so I could witness this hardship myself. It broke my heart. We’re raising money to provide emergency support to low-income families and frontline workers in Vietnam’s hardest hit communities. With a donation of $8, you can give an essential food package — containing 5kg of rice, 1 bottle of cooking oil, 1 bottle of soy sauce or fish sauce, and a pack of sardine can — that can help a person survive for 2 weeks! All donations will be sent to VietBay Inc., a 501©(3) non-profit organization formed by a group of Vietnamese professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area. All US donations are tax deductible. VietBay Inc. work with The Lotus Charity Foundation (Quỹ Từ thiện Bông Sen), the operator of Quan Com Nu Cuoi, VNHELP, JOY Foundation, and other grassroot groups, to prepare and distribute gift packages and PPE directly to the unfortunate people and medical workers in Vietnam. I will personally match every dollar you donate up to the first $2,000. And with VMware's generous matching program - every dollar from your contribution will have a quadruple effect! Please note "Help Vietnamese struggling due to COVID" in your contribution.
