Big Brother Big Sister NYC Rabobank Scholarship Fund
About Funding Higher Education for Our Future Leaders! Higher education is essential oftentimes to get your foot in the door and challenge you to think critically on challenges - no doubt - one will encounter any career path.  With your help, you can make a difference, giving a student the access to find their purpose and impact.  Please help our Littles path towards success by donating to the Rabobank Scholarship! This Scholarship was endorsed by the NAET to assist students with essential expenses. Since 2018, the New York Markets team introduced a mentorship program with BBBSNYC, the nation's first and the city's largest youth mentoring organization. Rabobank staff have been serving as mentors (Bigs) to the high school students (Littles) through the BBBSNYC Workplace Mentoring Program. For the 2021 - 2022 year, Rabobank expanded its relationship with BBBS by establishing the Rabobank Scholarship. For the past three BBBS graduating classes, we collectively raised over $47,000. We have 17 littles and we are striving to raise at least $1,000 per student, consistent to what we have achieved in the past. The proceeds will go to students we have mentored since Sophomore year! You are eligible to receive matching funds for your donation, up to $500.00! The Rabobank Scholarship Fund campaign is open and live now until May 30, 2026. This is a great opportunity to support this campaign and alleviate the financial burdens students often experience, set the students on the path to success, and create a more inclusive society. Your donation will make a difference in someone's life and effectuate real, tangible change. If you have any questions, please reach out to Peter Garcia.

Real hope for two children (My Daughter) Fund
❤️ A PERSONAL APPEAL TO MY ASML COLLEAGUES Dear colleagues, At ASML, we work every day on complex challenges and push the boundaries of what technology can achieve. But the greatest challenge in my life has nothing to do with lithography. My daughter Isis and another Dutch child, Seppe, have a rare and highly progressive heart disease called restrictive cardiomyopathy, caused by variants in the TNNI3 gene. Their heart muscles cannot relax properly, making it difficult for their hearts to fill with blood. Both children already have significantly elevated pressures in their hearts. There is currently no treatment that addresses the underlying disease. Within three years after diagnosis, around half of affected children have died or required a heart transplant. We are now 2.7 years beyond Isis’s diagnosis. For us, time matters. 🔬 A REAL SCIENTIFIC OPPORTUNITY A promising peptide called C27, discovered by Professor Jian-Ping Jin at the University of Illinois Chicago, is designed to restore the heart’s ability to relax. Published laboratory research supports its mechanism, although C27 has not yet been tested in patients. With money raised by Stichting Tikkertje and matching support from the Dutch Heart Foundation, researchers at UMC Utrecht created patient-specific heart models from Isis and Seppe. These models offer a unique opportunity to test C27 in heart tissue carrying the children’s own genetic variants. ✅ WHAT WE HAVE ACHIEVED • Published scientific evidence supporting the C27 mechanism • Patient-specific stem-cell models from Isis and Seppe • Support from experienced academic and clinical partners • A concrete research and development plan • A Foresight research proposal ready for funding 🚀 FROM SCIENCE TOWARDS PATIENTS I founded Lusitro B.V. to bring together the science, research partners and development expertise needed to move C27 towards patients. I also wrote and developed the Foresight research proposal together with leading academic partners. The proposed programme aims to: • Test whether C27 improves relaxation in the heart models of Isis and Seppe • Develop a PET tracer to determine whether C27 reaches the human heart • Prepare the manufacturing, safety and regulatory evidence needed for clinical development • Prepare an exploratory Phase 0 first-in-human microdosing study in parallel The Phase 0 study would use a very small, non-therapeutic dose. It would not test whether C27 works as a treatment, but whether it reaches the heart and how it behaves in the human body. Preparing this route in parallel could save valuable time. 💶 WHY YOUR SUPPORT IS NEEDED NOW The Foresight proposal is ready for funding, but Lusitro must provide its own substantial cash contribution to unlock the wider research programme. I am personally investing in this work, but I cannot fund the required contribution alone. Your donation through Bright Funds will support the programme via Stichting Tikkertje and help us take the following critical steps: • Patient-specific testing of C27 • Peptide and PET-tracer development • Biodistribution and safety research • Preparation for first-in-human microdosing • Regulatory and clinical-development work ❄️ A POSSIBLE SNOWBALL EFFECT If successful, this programme could generate the evidence and momentum needed to attract further research partners and funding. It could accelerate C27 towards patients and potentially open new possibilities for treating other cardiomyopathies in which impaired heart relaxation plays a role. The immediate priority, however, remains Isis and Seppe. 🙏 I AM ASKING FOR YOUR HELP We cannot promise that C27 will become a treatment. But we now have: • A scientifically grounded therapeutic candidate • Heart models made from the children’s own cells • Experienced research partners • A concrete development programme • A realistic opportunity to find out whether C27 can help I want to be able to tell my daughter that we did everything possible to give her a chance, and that we did not allow a lack of funding to stop us from finding out. ❤️ FOR ISIS. FOR SEPPE. FOR THEIR FUTURE. Every contribution, large or small, helps us take the next critical step. Thank you for reading our story and for any support you can give. Mark Hage Your colleague at ASML Founder of Lusitro | Father of Isis 👉 Please donate through this Bright Funds campaign. 🔗 More about the research: https://www.lusitro.com 🔗 About the foundation: https://www.stichtingtikkertje.nl

Support Education for Youth Without Family Care For most teenagers, ages 15–18 are a time to dream about the future. But for some young people who grew up in residential care, life looks very different. Once they leave the care system, many no longer have family support. They must find housing, work, and manage daily expenses on their own. In these circumstances, continuing their education can feel like a luxury, and tuition becomes a heavy burden. For youths without family care, pursuing higher education often means facing a choice between survival and studying. Through the Education Continuation Program for Youth Without Family Care of Chinese Children’s Home and Shelter Association (CCSA), we help ensure that these young people do not have to give up their dreams simply because of financial hardship. Why Your Support Matters Education is one of the most powerful ways to break the cycle of poverty. Without support, many youth leaving care are forced to suspend their studies in order to work and survive. With the right assistance, however, they can stay in school, complete their education, and build stable, independent lives. Your support can help protect their right to learn and give them the chance to pursue the future they deserve. How Your Donation Helps Funds raised through this program will support youth without family care by providing: • Tuition and school-related fees • Books and learning materials • Tutoring and academic support • Professional social work guidance to support continued education Our social workers work closely with each young person to help them stay in school or return to their studies when life challenges arise. Together, we can ensure that financial hardship does not take away their opportunity to learn and grow. Your Impact Your generosity can make a meaningful difference: • TWD 500 helps provide books and learning materials • TWD 1,000 supports tutoring and academic assistance • TWD 2,000 helps cover tuition and essential education costs for a student Every donation helps a young person continue their education and move closer to a stable and hopeful future.

One Laboratory, Thousands of Children’s Lives Fund
A child with leukemia does not have time to wait. While researchers continue searching for better treatments, thousands of children around the world are fighting for their lives every single day. Some will respond to treatment. Some will not. For children whose cancer returns or becomes resistant to conventional therapies, advanced treatments such as CAR-T cell therapy and cellular immunotherapies may represent one of the last remaining hopes. But hope cannot exist without the infrastructure that makes these treatments possible. That is why LÖSEV is working to establish a GMP Laboratory operating at international standards. This laboratory is more than a facility. It is where science becomes hope. It is where innovative therapies can move from research to real treatment. It is where children who have run out of options may be given another chance. Every breakthrough treatment begins somewhere. Every life-saving therapy requires a place where it can be developed, tested and produced safely. With your support, we can help build that place. A place where innovation serves humanity. A place where more children can survive cancer. A place where more families can keep their hope alive. One Laboratory. Thousands of Children's Lives. ----------- Further Information & Contact If you would like to learn more about this initiative or explore potential collaboration and support opportunities, please feel free to contact us. 🌐 Website: https://www.losev.org.tr/en 📧 Email: busemaker@losev.org.tr 📧 Email: international@losev.org.tr

Averell E. Eisner Memorial Fund
Celebrating the Life of Mr. Averell Eisner Father of Ken Eisner, Managing Director, Global Higher Education to Workforce and K-16 Skills Averell Eisner, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and lifelong problem-solver, passed away on February 20, 2026. He was born on February 14, 1942, in Perth Amboy, NJ, and grew up in Highland Park, NJ. From an early age, he displayed a deep love of math and science - the foundation of a life spent at the frontier of technology. He attended Rutgers Preparatory School and later graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, carrying with him a disciplined, analytical mindset that would define both his career and his approach to life. Brain Chemistry Labs was an organization near and dear to Mr. Eisner. Please read below to learn more about the organization. Ethnomedicine (dba Brain Chem Labs) We have only one wish at the Institute for Ethnomedicine (dba Brain Chem Labs): to discover new treatments for serious illnesses. This focus has led to the discovery of two promising new drugs for ALS, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and other tangle diseases. We have a third drug in development. Our novel path to discovery has been exciting. Each step of this path, beginning in Guam, has brought us closer to a cure. What Brain Chem Labs (BCL) has accomplished over the last decade is truly remarkable with the advancement of discovery to development. The combination of innovative environmental field research and in-lab analysis has provided much hope for those suffering from these diseases and their families. BCL’s diligent staff and highly capable scientific team cannot be sufficiently acknowledged or thanked for their insights and amazing discoveries into disease processes that have the potential to significantly improve the outcome of patients and impact on the world for good. Their willingness to collaborate with an international consortium of multi-disciplinary scientists toward major achievements and advances, despite a modest budget, is inspiring. It has been an outstanding year of donor support allowing significant progress scientifically. We express gratitude to all our generous donors, advisors, and partners who allow this important work to move forward. Your gift can have a significant impact on preventing, diagnosing, and treating brain diseases. Innovative research leading to novel scientific discoveries, combined with tight financial management, means that your gift will have maximum value.
