Hurricane Isaias made landfall near Destin, FL on October 9 as a Category 2 hurricane, unleashing hurricane-force winds, torrential rain, storm surge and tornadoes across the Gulf Coast of Florida and Alabama. The hurricane's effects have resulted in the deaths of four people, more than 800,000 customers across the region are without power and widespread wind and rain damages has impacted homes and businesses across the Southeast.

In the face of widespread power outages, Mercy Chefs, in collaboration with local churches, is serving chef-prepared, hot meals to those affected by Hurricane Isaias in Pensacola, FL.
American National Red Cross
The American Red Cross and local chapters have been supporting evacuation centers prior to and during the storm. In the aftermath the Red Cross is supporting distribution of food, water and relief supplies.
